National Service
National service programs engage more than 4 million Americans to improve individual communities, whole states and ultimately, the nation. These programs are funded through the federal agency AmeriCorps and are administered by state service commissions, including Volunteer Florida. In Florida, nonprofit organizations, educational foundations and government agencies are eligible to apply for AmeriCorps funding through Volunteer Florida’s competitive grant process.
